On Sunday 30 June 2019 the 19th edition of the Biella-Monte Camino skyrace will be held, organized by A.S.D. GSA Pollone (sports association that organizes skyrunning and trail running in the Elvo Valley and in the Oropa basin) of 23 km with 2,000 m. of positive gradient.
The BCM – which has become a must for the local skyrace circuit – will again be part of the 3C circuit (3 peaks) which involves two other important races: 28 July Mont Crabun and 15 September Ivrea – Mombarone, with a total of 55, 70 km traveled and 6,459 meters of positive gradient. Three companies located in three different realities and united together to enhance and try to lead each one to their own territory.
It starts from the center of the city towards the villages of the upper part of the Biellese, and then touches mountain landscapes until reaching the summit of 2,391 m. of the Monte Camino.
The last edition of the BMC has recorded a notable increase both of participants with important names also at international level, and of public.
